In an unprecedented accomplishment, CBS's THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS this week marks its 1,040 consecutive week-or 20 years- as daytime's Number One drama, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dececember 5.
The YOUNG AND RESTLESS winning streak started the week of December 26, 1988.
For the most recent week, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was also first in women 25-54 for the 187th time in 191 weeks and first in women 18-49 for the 145th time in 155 weeks and for the 172nd time in the last 188 weeks.
